Sam Greer, Ph.D.
Sam Greer accepted the call to serve as Senior Pastor at RBBC in May 2012. He began his ministry on June 3, 2012. Sam has previously served as Senior Pastor of Bonner Creek Baptist Church and Hebron Baptist Church in Louisiana. Sam has a Bachelors of Business Administration from Millsaps College, and a Masters of Divinity, a Masters of Theology and a Ph.D. in Expository Preaching from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, LA.
At the age of 29, God called Sam out of the business world of financial planning to preach His Word. He loves to stand before the people of God to proclaim the Word of God for the Glory of God. His life verse is Philippians 1:21, “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.”
Sam and his wife, Tonya, are originally from Mississippi and have been married since 2001. They have two daughters, Braydee Elizabeth, born in 2006 and Hannah Belle, born in 2009.
